ENTWINED DOLPHINS MIRROR

Two mythical dolphins, their tails entwined into a striking crest, encircle a convex mirror. The design is fittingly finished in hand-laid gold leaf over a black bole. The mythical dolphin was the Admiral Lord Nelson’s emblem. During the late 18th Century, it became a symbol for England’s hegemony over the seas.
