Our exquisite late 18th Century English wall scone is a reproduction of the original now exhibited in the Ogden Codman-designed salon at Chateau Sur Mer in Newport, RI. This highly decorative piece boasts intricate scrolling Adam open work, hanging festoons with a fluted base, and double sconce arms, crested with a burst of trumpet flowers. An antique gold leaf finish and ancient mercury glass enhance the romance.
