Handsome and beautifully proportioned this looking glass is finished in antique gold leaf with a beveled mirror. Elegant fluting harmoniously relates the black columns with their elongated acanthus capitals to the gold base and architrave, the latter ornamented with a flower embellished medallion and bow on a rectangular plaque. A flaring pediment and blocked corners highlighted with rosettes add to this architectural statement. Pictured here as a floor mirror, hangers are provided for wall use.
